The Nautica Malibu Triathlon announces their continued partnership with EQUINOX as the presenting sponsor
Malibu, CA – April 19th, 2016 – The Nautica Malibu Triathlon, presented by Equinox, is proud to announce that it has signed a multi-year agreement with EQUINOX. The collaboration with EQUINOX marks its 5th year, and continues to be successful due to the brand’s ongoing dedication and commitment to the Triathlon and its participants.

In an effort to get participants prepared for the upcoming event, EQUINOX will be hosting indoor triathlon training programs at some of their exclusive EQUINOX fitness club locations, as well as introducing their outdoor triathlon training program this summer.

The Nautica Malibu Triathlon presented by Equinox comes back to Zuma Beach on September 17 & 18, 2016, gathering thousands of participants, including the world’s finest athletes, philanthropists, celebrities and supporters. The Nautica Malibu Triathlon presented by Equinox will provide the ultimate fitness experience with a half-mile ocean swim, 18-mile bike ride and 4-mile run beginning at 7 a.m. Fundraising efforts will benefit the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ Pediatric Cancer Research Program, dedicated to curing and preventing childhood cancers.
The Nautica Malibu Triathlon presented by Equinox raised over $1.35 million dollars last year, which aided in the Basic and Translational Cancer Research Program of the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Notable past participants include Max Greenfield, Teri Hatcher, Jennifer Lopez, Jon Cryer, Mark Feuerstein, Michael Weatherly and James Marsden.
