Matchbox® Teams Up with MESP, Inc. to Give Kids the Ultimate Outdoor Adventure
Matchbox® Joins with Adventure Kids to Promote Healthy Habits
Agoura Hills, CA (April 14, 2010) – Matchbox® and Michael Epstein Sports Productions, Inc. (MESP) are proud to announce a partnership for the Adventure Kids national race series. Adventure Kids is a four-race series that features a 100-yard mud run dash for kids aged 4-6, and a mile of obstacle-filled, muddy madness for kids aged 7-13. Each event follows the Merrell Down & Dirty National Mud Run Series, and focuses on establishing healthy lifestyles for kids by giving them a fun way to stay fit. The Adventure Kids race series will debut at the Los Angeles Merrell Down & Dirty Mud Run on April 25th in Castaic, CA.
“We have always wanted to come up with a fun and unique way to promote fitness in kids. What better way than to build a mud run specifically for them!” said Michael Epstein, President of MESP, Inc. “Matchbox has always encouraged kids to find real adventures, which makes them a great partner for Adventure Kids.”

ABOUT THE MERRELL DOWN & DIRTY NATIONAL MUD RUN SERIES:
2010 marks the inaugural year for the four event Merrell Down & Dirty National Mud Run Series. The 5K and 10K off-road trail runs feature military-style obstacles, water crossings and massive mud pits to add to the challenge. In 2010, the event will visit Los Angeles, CA (April 25th), Philadelphia, PA (July 18th), New York, NY (October 3rd) and Sacramento, CA (October 31st). Operation Gratitude is the charity partner for the series.
