Olympic Distance Race added to the Nautica Malibu Triathlon!

After months of careful research, planning and development – MESP is proud to announce that on Saturday September 13th, 2008 we will be adding an Olympic Distance Triathlon – as part of the Nautica Malibu Triathlon Weekend!! This 1.5K Swim, 40K Bike and 10K run will feature the great amenities you have come to expect in Malibu – an amazingly beautiful, safe, well organized, single transition course, top notch amenities including a custom embroidered Nautica Malibu Triathlon Cap and our new – Every Athlete is A VIP philosophy for 2008!

The event will also offer a $40,000 cash purse bringing triathlons' greatest athletes together to race alongside you and the Malibu Coast. The professional athletes are the new celebrities on Saturday (entertainers, corporate and entertainment challenge teams will race on Sunday only) so come race or watch the spectator friendly battle.

Check our website for updates and details, registration will launch on Monday May 26th at 10:00 AM and will be limited to the first 1,000 athletes. If you missed your chance to race in Malibu don’t miss this opportunity!
